PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY (1976 - Present)
- Licensed Clinician: Twenty-six years as licensed marriage and family therapist (FL, SC, and VA); In all settings, counseled families, couples, and individuals regarding wide range of clinical issues (e.g. depression, divorce, sexuality, communication, intimacy, job security, workplace stress, transitions, anxiety, process of change, addictions recovery, aging, grieving, widening vision, personal/ professional/ and spiritual growth);
- Supervision: supervised student trainees and professional colleagues regarding clinical case management; supervised a county addictions recovery outpatient team regarding clinical issues;
- Group Therapy: Conducted psychodynamic psychotherapy groups for couples, women, and men and women over 15 years;
- Teaching: Taught marriage/family courses for post masters level trainees; led personal/spiritual growth seminars nationally.
NATIONAL CENTER FOR STATE COURTS (1997- 2001)
- Positions held: Educator, Senior Educator, Education Programs Manager, Director of Distance Learning Center;
Duties have included: curriculum designer; grant writer and project director for funded activities; project manager for program development and standardization; faculty in executive education programs; developer and overseer of distance education initiatives; designer/facilitator of train-the-trainer and faculty development seminars; editor/coordinator of quarterly newsletter.

VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES (1980-present)
- Chair: Advisory Council at a university (directed team of 20 to intervene in faculty/student concerns, developed policy and procedure guidelines, and initiated disputes/critiques protocol through student survey, crisis intervention;
- Core Member: Executive Task Force for national organization, developed policy and procedures, advised executive committee regarding grants, seminar speakers, site proposals, member satisfaction;
- Parish Council Director: managed 200 volunteers, oversaw staff of 10, designed & implemented workshops/retreats;
- Co-founder, Woman to Woman Ministries, organization designs and delivers seminars and spiritual renewal retreats;
- Host/Online chat sessions on personal growth topics;
- Designed and delivered closed circuit TV training for clinicians.
